About me
Zach, MA LMHC, A resident of Seattle Washington is passionate about positive youth development, whimsy and a good snack. Zach spent his childhood summers in the gaga pits of Camp Solomon Schechter, eventually graduating the pits to become a Counselor, Challenge Course director, unit head and even a full time Assistant Director. His love for camp gave way to helping children and their families by becoming a Mental Health clinician. He holds a Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington. He worked at Seattle Children's hospital with kiddos with severe OCD and Anxiety and loved it so much that he runs a private practice (as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor) doing that very same thing. He currently constructs dynamic and useful mental health-oriented programming for schools and non-profits around the Pacific Northwest. His love for adventure and outdoor development opportunities is still flourishing. He is known to lead school groups, wedding parties and his clients through various lower and higher ropes course elements. In the summer Zach splits his time working at camp Solomon Schechter advising the camper care team (sometimes even from the gaga pit) and his own practice in Seattle. He is also extremely active in his local Jewish community in Pacific Northwest.
