About me
Rabbi Seth Braunstein has a passion for informal Jewish education. He grew up going to Jewish summer camp and has traveled extensively working for many Jewish communities around the world. Seth directed the Szarvas Fellowship Program for 17 years, bringing diverse groups of high school students from across North America to the largest international Jewish summer camp in Hungary. He also served as one of the Camp's Rabbinical advisors and educators. This is Seth's 10th year working as a Faculty Advisor with FJC's Cornerstone program. He also currently serves as a Middle School Dean at the Leffell school.
Seth has worked as a Yoetz, supporting counselors and division heads, at Ramah Day Camp in Nyack for the past several summers. He has also been an educational consultant and mentor with both the Jewish Education Project and I Center. Seth received rabbinic ordination from YCT Rabbinical School. He lives in NY with his wife Jamie and their children Lital, Matan and Erez. In his free time, he loves hiking and exploring the outdoors!
