About me
Dan is thrilled to return to FJC Cornerstone for a 2nd year. An overnight camper since age 8, a teen summer experience in Israel changed Dan's life and career path. Since then, he's been crafting meaningful relationships and creative experiences in the professional Jewish world like a master chef whipping up a perfect shakshuka.
With a background in stage and TV acting, Dan brings a dramatic flair to Israel education - in the best way possible! He's always on the lookout for innovative ways to connect people with Israel, probably because he's secretly hoping to find a way to teleport everyone there for immersive learning experiences.
These days, Dan's a director at The iCenter, building and deepening connections with Israel and Israelis faster than you can say "yalla." His toolkit includes a certification in Innovative Strategies and Teaching with AI from SIT, an Executive MA in Jewish Professional Studies from the Spertus Institute, and a Master's in Israel Education from The George Washington University.
In the camp world, Dan is like a human Swiss Army knife except instead of tools, he's packed with icebreakers, silly songs, and an endless supply of Nasonex.
