About me
Alex Bennett received her Bachelor of Arts in Drama with a minor in Jewish Studies from University of California, Irvine in 2022. Alex discovered their passion for Jewish communal work in college through her involvement and presidencies with Hillel and Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. Upon graduation, Alex moved from California to the East Coast where they began their career at University of Delaware Hillel. This past summer, Alex began working as the Assistant Director, Makom Teen Community at Temple Isaiah in Lexington, Massachusetts where she enjoys developing, facilitating, and participating in Jewish programming. Alex has spent eleven summers as both camper and staff at URJ Camp Newman and is excited to attend their fifth Cornerstone Fellowship as a Siyyum member of the Cornerstone Alumni Board. In her free time, Alex can be found listening to music, appreciating the outdoors, or baking delicious dairy-free desserts.
